Made of solid plush on one side and softer silkier plush on the other, each comforter has a character head in the centre. I bought a set of 4, and then a set of 3 elephants (as we lost one at childcare).
The fabric is great and soft. My son (2.5yo) loves to tickle his face with the corners.
The silk ears are just starting to have little balls of silk from overuse. But we wash them weekly and the seams have NOT fallen apart and the fabric is still soft but getting a more 'used' look - which my sons loves even more!
My son now goes to bed every night with ALL of his comforters. He is also known to carry them all together around our house (several in each hand). He even named them his BUDDIES. So it is Elzzie no more, but BUDDY the Elephant.
I highly recommend these comforters to any new mum. My eldest (5.5yo) has the Blue Puppy and he is adored still.

When you lost the one at childcare I hope you contacted us to see if it was handed in. I love to hear from people like yourself about how much your little ones love the comforters I have put a lot of time and effort into making them and making sure we always have spares for lost ones.
